3 easy hairstyles for bad hair days

I'm used to always having greasy horrible hair, so with all this experience I've managed to gather up a few good hairstyles for bad hair days. (More like bad hair life!)

Vanessa Hudgens showing off the fish tail braid.
The first hairstyle I've really been enjoying recently is is the 'Fishtail' braid.

Depending on which way you want it (to the side or at the back) Gather all of your hair and split it into two sections.

Pull one strand of hair from one side and cross it over to the other, and do the same on the other side.

Carry on doing this and you'll eventually see the braid coming along.

Tips: Try to keep each strand the same thickness.
Every so often, tighten up the braid.
To go for a messier look pull the hair a little from the sides to create a loser layed back look!

Another hair style is simple waves.

1.All you need to do is wash your hair and wait until it's 90% dry
2.Braid it normally
3.Tie off the ends, depending on how thick your hair is, you can have a different amount of braids. If you have coarse hair then 2 or 3 braids would be sensible!
4. The next morning take the braid out and voila!
Tips: It also works on dry hair, but not as well, for better looking results make sure to spritz it with some water a tiny bit!

Messy Top knot!
one of the most popular hairstyles for bad hair days!

Have your hair 1 or 2 days old from your last wash. (it's okay if it's older or just out of the wash, but I find it works better.)

1.Turn your hair upside down and start pulling it back like you would with a high pony tail.
2.Grab a hair tie and start creating a rough bun shape on the top of your head and tie round it with your elastic. (It may look a bit weird at the moment)
3.Grab another hair band and mould your hair into the shape you want and tie the hair band around it
4.Finally to secure it add bobby pins where needed.
5.To create a messy look pull out bits of hair and pull the hair just slightly to create more volume.
Tips: Take your fringe/bangs out of the bun before tying it up if you like.
Wash your hair roughly 1-2 days before creating this look.
Before hand add some texturising spray to add more volume.
You could add a head band or a little ribbon around your head to add a little something to the bun!
